Air Fryer Plum Chips

Plum chips are the kind of snack you don’t realize you need until you try them—lightly crisp, a little chewy, and packed with bright, sweet-tart flavor. If you’ve got an air fryer, you can turn fresh plums into a simple, wholesome treat with very little effort. No special dehydrator, no hours in the oven.

Just slice, season, and let the air fryer do its thing. They’re perfect for lunch boxes, mid-afternoon cravings, or topping yogurt and oatmeal.

What Makes This Special

Plum chips are a nice change from the usual apple or banana chips. They offer a unique balance of sweetness and tang that keeps every bite interesting.

In the air fryer, the natural sugars in the plums concentrate, which means more flavor without adding much (or any) extra sugar. This method is also quick. Instead of drying for half a day, you can get snacking in under an hour, depending on your desired texture.

Plus, the process is customizable—add cinnamon, a hint of vanilla, or a sprinkle of chili and lime for a playful twist.
