Preheat the air fryer: Set to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes. Preheating helps the crust crisp evenly.
Prepare the pizza: Remove the pizza from all packaging. If the crust is very pale or thin, lightly mist the edges with olive oil spray.
Add extras (optional): Sprinkle on a small handful of shredded cheese or a few thinly sliced toppings.
Keep toppings light so the center cooks through.
Load the basket: Place the frozen pizza directly in the air fryer basket. Don’t use parchment unless the manufacturer recommends it, and never preheat with parchment inside.
Cook: Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 6–10 minutes. Start checking at minute 6.
Smaller, thin-crust pizzas finish faster; thicker or loaded pizzas may need 10–12 minutes.
Rotate if needed: If your air fryer has hot spots, carefully rotate the pizza halfway through for even browning.
Check doneness: The cheese should be fully melted and bubbling, and the crust golden and crisp. Lift the edge with tongs to ensure the bottom is browned.
Rest and finish: Let the pizza rest 1–2 minutes to set the cheese. Add fresh basil, red pepper flakes, Parmesan, or a drizzle of hot honey if you like.
Slice and serve: Cut into wedges and enjoy immediately while crisp.
