Air Fryer Frozen Egg Rolls - Crispy, Fast, and Fuss-Free

Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 12 minutes
Servings 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Frozen egg rolls (pork, chicken, shrimp, or vegetable)
  • Neutral oil spray (optional, for extra crispness)
  • Your favorite dipping sauces: sweet chili, soy sauce, hoisin, hot mustard, sriracha mayo
  • Optional garnishes: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer: Set to 380°F (193°C). Preheating helps the wrappers crisp up quickly and evenly.
  • Arrange the egg rolls: Place the frozen egg rolls in a single layer in the basket. Leave a little space between them so air can circulate. Do not stack.
  • Optional light spray: Lightly mist the tops with oil spray. This boosts browning, but you can skip it if you prefer oil-free.
  • Cook the first side: Air fry for 6–7 minutes.
  • Flip: Turn each egg roll over so both sides crisp evenly.
  • Finish cooking: Air fry another 5–7 minutes, until golden brown and hot in the center. Total time is usually 11–14 minutes, depending on size and brand.
  • Check for doneness: Look for a deep golden color and a firm, crisp exterior. If you have a thermometer, the center should reach at least 165°F (74°C).
  • Rest briefly: Let them sit 2 minutes to cool slightly and help the wrapper set.
  • Serve: Plate with your favorite dips and garnishes.
