Air Fryer Frozen Curly Fries - Crispy, Fast, and Foolproof

Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Frozen curly fries (any brand; do not thaw)
  • Oil spray (optional; avocado, canola, or olive oil spray helps with extra crisp)
  • Salt (optional; many brands are already seasoned)
  • Pepper or paprika (optional, to boost flavor)
  • Dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, chipotle mayo, or BBQ (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. Preheating helps the fries crisp faster.
  • Add the frozen fries directly from the bag to the basket. Don’t thaw them. Spread them out in a loose, even layer.
  • Lightly spray with oil if you want extra crunch. This step is optional, but it boosts texture.
  • Cook for 10–14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Start checking at the 8–10 minute mark if your air fryer runs hot.
  • Shake or toss well at least once to prevent sticking and promote even browning. If the basket is crowded, shake twice.
  • Check for doneness: they should be golden, crisp on the edges, and tender inside. If they need more time, add 1–2 minute increments.
  • Season to taste right after cooking while the fries are hot. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, or paprika if needed.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Curly fries are best hot and fresh.
