Ingredients
Frozen breaded chicken tenders: Any brand you like. Standard or panko breading both work well.
Cooking spray (optional): Helps boost browning, especially on lighter coatings.
Seasonings (optional): Garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, lemon pepper, or a pinch of cayenne for extra kick.
Dipping sauces: Ranch, honey mustard, barbecue, buffalo, ketchup, or a smoky mayo.
Air fryer: Basket-style or oven-style both work.
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Preheating helps the breading crisp up right away.
Arrange the tenders in a single layer in the basket. Leave space between them so air can circulate. Don’t stack.
Optional: Lightly mist the tops with cooking spray and sprinkle on extra seasonings if desired.
Air fry for 10–14 minutes total, flipping halfway.
Start checking at the 10-minute mark.
Check doneness: The exterior should be golden and crisp. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). Thicker tenders may need another 2–3 minutes.
Rest for 2 minutes to let the crust set.
Serve hot with sauces and sides.
